The University of Missouri’s Fisher Delta Research Center has been requested to assist in remediating the invasive Asian Carp population in the Mississippi River in southeastern Missouri. This invasive species threatens the native fish population in our area. An initial investment to remediate this species has been made by the State of Missouri, and the Missouri Department of Agriculture, by funding viable public/private partnerships.
The Fisher Delta Research Center and the Asian Carp Remediation Board encourage any proposals for assisting in this endeavor be submitted by mail prior to the Dec. 7 cut-off. Please send to:

The first phase of investment for remediation projects will be announced on the Fisher Delta Research Center’s website, delta.cafnr.org, Dec. 21, 2015.
